# Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to the use of this website and to tours booked through it. **Batu Caves Tours** is a brand of Exotic Asia Holidays Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd (company registration 898289M, MATTA member MA3643, Ministry of Tourism licence KPL/LN/6245), referred to below as "we", "us" and "our".

## 1\. Agreement

By using this website or booking a tour with us, you agree to these terms and to all applicable Malaysian laws and regulations.

## 2\. What we provide

We operate guided tours to Batu Caves and nearby attractions, currently:

-   Batu Caves Guided Tour
-   Kanching Waterfalls + Batu Caves Tour
-   Batu Caves Combo Tours

Entry to the Batu Caves Temple Cave is free at the attraction and is not something we sell. Optional attraction tickets, including Ramayana Cave and Cave Villa, are charged by the attraction and paid there.

## 3\. Booking and confirmation

Bookings are made and paid online through our booking provider, Bokun. A booking is confirmed when you receive your email voucher. Your driver's contact details are sent the day before departure. A booking is not confirmed by an enquiry form submission, a WhatsApp message or a phone call alone.

## 4\. Pricing

Prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) as fixed per-person tiers that vary by group size and product. Live tiers are shown in the booking panel on each tour page and confirmed at checkout. Private charters are quoted on request. Prices may change without notice, but the price confirmed on your voucher is the price that applies to your booking.

A child rate applies to ages 3 to 11.

## 5\. Cancellation and refunds

You receive a full refund when you cancel at least 2 days before departure. The exact terms for your specific product are shown at checkout and on your voucher, and those terms govern your booking.

## 6\. Pickup, punctuality and no-shows

Complimentary hotel pickup is included within 10 km of the Petronas Twin Towers. Areas beyond that radius are served on surcharge or from the Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur meeting point, agreed at the time of booking.

Please wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Our driver waits 30 minutes, after which the booking is marked a no-show and no refund is due.

## 7\. Physical requirements and your responsibility

Reaching the Temple Cave requires climbing 272 steps. There is no lift, no ramp and no alternative route. We state this on every tour page. You are responsible for assessing whether the climb is suitable for everyone in your party before booking.

Batu Caves is an active place of worship. A dress code applies: shoulders and knees covered for men and women. Long-tailed macaques live on the site and are wild animals. Follow your guide's instructions and the site's rules at all times.

## 8\. Changes and conditions beyond our control

Itineraries may change because of weather, traffic, road closures, festival crowds, religious observances or the closure of part of the attraction. Where a change is significant we will tell you as early as we can and offer a reasonable alternative or a refund of the affected portion.

## 9\. Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our tours, including missed onward transport resulting from delays outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law. We strongly recommend travel insurance.

## 10\. Third-party services

Payments run through Bokun and some itineraries are sold through a separate Bokun booking channel. Attraction tickets are sold by the attraction. Those providers' own terms apply to those transactions.

## 11\. Accuracy of information

We publish attraction facts, including opening hours, ticket prices and closure status, as they stand at the date of this page. Attraction operators can change them without notice. Where something is uncertain, we say so rather than guessing.

## 12\. Intellectual property

The content on this website, including text, photographs and design, belongs to Exotic Asia Holidays Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd unless stated otherwise, and is protected by copyright.

## 13\. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
